Was out all day at a divisional meeting yesterday – free booze at the end so it was 1-1 going into stoppage time. At the happy hour, I ended up chatting to this girl who looks like Lisa Loeb, digs indie rock, and spent part of last year working in London and became a Gooner in the process. 2-1 me now, and practically no time left.  I’m thinking, “Ref, blow the whistle!”. Then fate scored an equalizier right at the death: She’s married.
